Hospital Photo Shoots

Nathan and I decided to be photographers and do our own newborn photos while we were in the hospital (for what seemed like forever-4 days is a long time in a hospital bed!)

Here is one last picture of me pregnant at the hospital Saturday night...I was anxious and excited to finally meet our precious little girl!

Daddy was excited too and took such great care of me...it was one long night and then day...he was right by my side, along with Grandma!

After 9 months and what seemed like an eternity in the hospital delivery room we finally got to meet our daughter!

Her beauty was no surprise but can you see all that dark hair, it's adorable!!

Grandma and Grandpa Chung were there to cuddle her and say hello!

Uncle Nathan and Uncle Griffin were so happy to finally meet their niece...they flew in from California.

Crafty Me!

Since we're going to have two little girls in the house the number of hair bows and headbands is surely going to double. With that in mind I set out for something to keep them all organized. It's my first craft as a new mom and...I think I'm going to keep it up!

37 Weeks and Counting!

It's hard to believe the time is almost here! After 9 MONTHS I'm ready to meet our precious little one! The nursery is complete, her car seat is in the car and our hospital bags are packed. Now it's just a waiting game...

Here are a few pictures of the nursery. It was so fun to decorate! Daddy did the painting of course but the girly stuff was left to me.

She is one lucky girl and we can't wait to see her!

A few months ago we decided to get a new puppy. After lots of internet searching, two trips to the animal shelter and a family discussion we found her!

Emery's Baby Shower

Grandma Tauni threw us a wonderful baby shower in California! We headed out the night before to my parents house ...little did I know the decorations, fun and oh so cute baby stuff that awaited us!

The cake was delicious and the presents overwhelming...Emery will be stylin' with all her adorable new clothes and toys!

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! Thank you mom for a beautiful shower, Emery will be so lucky to call you Grandma!

Happy New Year!

Wow! It's already the second day of 2010, I can't believe it. My resolution is to keep our blog current so that we can share all of our exciting news.

I thought it would only be fair to do a quick rewind of 2009 considering the many events that have happened in the last 6 months (which highlights my laziness to keep you all updated!).

As you already know Nathan and I got engaged on June 7. On July 20 we decided to make it official and were married in a small ceremony in Phoenix, AZ. We are still planning a wedding in August of 2010 so look forward to a formal celebration!

I FINALLY finished my master's degree from National University! This day was long awaited and I'm so glad to be done!




But our biggest news of all was that our little family would continue to grow...



Baby Emery is due February 9 2010...(yes as in next month!)

We are so excited and have been incredibly blessed...we can only imagine the joy this year will bring for us!!
