Bare with me...

It's been a month, I know! Where have we been...starting to plan a wedding, attending a wedding, working, raising two sweet little girls, and moving! There were some lazy days in there too but for the most part we could barely sit down! Pictures to come from everything!!

My Baby Girl

Guess what everyone?! She's 7 months old!!

Our little miss continues to grow. She's becoming such a beautiful little girl! Although she isn't crawling yet (she would rather yell at her toys to come to her), she can sit by herself and even waves bye-bye with the fingers of her hands!

She's 17lbs and 25 inches of pure fun!

Miss Independent

Yes she is only 6 months and 3 weeks old and she wants to feed herself! Today during her dinner Emery would not stop whining and reaching for the bowl and spoon SO... I gave it to her!

You've got to have friends!

This weekend Emery got to see her best bud...Keegan! He's turning into quite the little man and I think he noticed she's becoming quite a pretty little lady too! :) Despite the fact that he's VERY mobile, Keegan gave Emery lots of attention.

Emery even helped Keegan open a birthday gift...what else are friends for right?!

As you can see she really just wanted the paper!

It was a great afternoon for the kiddos! I love watching these two grow up together and share lots of fun memories!

Crafty Momma

We have quite a few friends with little ones whose birthdays are just around the corner and I wanted to do something cute and personal. Well after blog hunting for a few weeks I finally found the perfect gift. Growth charts! This weekend while Daddy was away, Emery and I went shopping for supplies and gave it a go and this is how it turned out...

So easy, very little mess, and they turned out cute! Emery is wondering where hers is now.

Our week in review

Last week was a very busy week...but of course we found time to take lots of pictures!

Emery was busy learning to scoot, playing with mommy's jewelry, napping in her frog pose and taking her first bath in the big girl bath tub!!

Akira started her first day of second grade. I'm not sure if she was even that upset to say good bye to summer. She was so excited to get to school!

That morning we made homemade banana muffins...they were delicious!

Then there was a lot of sisterly-bonding time! Emery loves her big sister...Akira even showed her how to wear shoes for the first time.

Our week was filled with lots of fun and LOVE . We're so lucky to have such a happy, healthy family. I hope everyone had a great week!

Emery's Half Birthday

That's right folks, she's already 6 months old!

Emery is growing up to be quite a busy body. She's rolling over, practically sitting by herself, and wants to play with anything she can get her hands on (paper and food especially!) She's officially started eating veggies and loves cereal! Her smile continues to be the most contagious thing in our home! We love you little bug!
