Our last bit of Beach Weather

We LOVE the beach in our family!  Especially because it's not everyday we get to go.

After having a great time at my reunion, the next day we decided to spend some time in the waves with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Nathan and Uncle Griffin.

That was the our beautiful day in La Jolla!  We had a hard time driving back to Arizona after this trip, we had so much fun with our friends and family!

10 Year Reunion

10 years!!! Can you believe it?!!

Ha ha, since high school that is!  And these ladies haven't aged a bit!

Nathan and I returned home to Temecula to attend my 10 year reunion at Bailey's Bar and Grill in Old Town.  It was such a great time, catching up on everyone's marriages, little ones, jobs, and fun stories from the high school.  I must say this was one great date night for us!  Good company and great times....now just to plan our move back so I can see these lovelies more often! :)

School Daze

SCHOOL!!

Yes, I know we are already two months in but we're a little behind over here! ;)  Akira started the third grade this year and Emmy started her first daycare/preschool adventure!  This is going way too fast!  She is becoming such a busy little girl...one that goes to school, eats snack and even has her own group of friends! ;)

And this is how we left her...she was exploring all the new toys as I was making sure I had the school's number in my phone so I could call and check on her.  (BTW- I only called twice, the first time she was napping, the second I got to hear playing)!

At least I thought she was tired.  Instead she raced to her toys as if she hadn't seen them in a week and dove right in, literally!

Nothing like relaxing after your first day of school!

From Head to Pretty Toes

One night last week after bath we decided to take clean and pretty to a whole new level.  I wasn't sure if she was ready but the second I began to paint her toes pink she was as still as can be and all she could say was 'pit-ty!'

I'm so in love with these cute little toes!

If this is any indication of what's to come...this is the beginning of so much fun with our little girly girl!

Congrats Forrest!

A couple of weekends ago we celebrated Forrest's graduation from his PhD program.  

The BBF's (Baby Best Friends) took over the party and had a blast as always!

There was dancing... (the speaker was in the bushes and Keegan couldn't get enough of the music!)

Although there was no water the BBF's found a way to make it work.
