Circus

For some Fall fun we surprised the girls with a trip to the CIRCUS!
It was so cute to see there faces light up when they saw what was in store for them.  I must admit, I was quite surprised myself.  For Phoenix Arizona this was an impressive circus (not bad for scoring tickets at the grocery store with all my numerous points I rack up buying groceries)!

She wasn't too sure about her first balloon animal.  I think she expected more :)

But the circus performers did not disappoint!!
There were acrobats...

 and BEARS!!

And of course men juggling fire!  Not to mention all of the other amazing acts that included dancing, magic and a silly clown.  It was the best feeling to see our girls laughing and in awe; it really is so great to see things through your kids eyes!

And who could forget the SWEETS?!!  Not us of course.
This was Emery's first go with cotton candy and let's just say it went fast!!

Daddy was a fan of the cotton candy too!
Notice Emery going for the Icee when daddy isn't looking, ha ha! ;)

Up and close with the 'elphats' as Emery says.

I'm so in love with these little faces.  They are so much fun!

Our trip to the circus was another great family memory!

A Day to Remember

For those of you who know us...this day was long awaited and a very special event for both of our families.  Nathan and I met in March of 2009 and our relationship took off like a jet plane...literally!
We now have two beautiful daughters,  a crazy dog and a house full of of love.  On August 27, 2011 we were able to share our marriage vows and the love we have for each other with both of our families and our dearest friends!  It was a beautiful day (one I wish I could live over and over again!)

Here are some of my favorite pictures....

Our two girls, Emery and Akira <3

My flowers were to die for!  I wish I could have kept them forever.
And my bridesmaids were beauties too!  I was so lucky to have these girls be a part of this special day!

The men (plus my handsome and proud brothers :)).

Me and my mommy

This is quite possibly my favorite photo ;)

We did it!

Here is the link to the rest of our pictures...there really are so many good ones!
Enjoy!

It was one of the best days of our lives!
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband now and forever!

Halloween Party Time

This past weekend we entertained some of our friends for a spooky Halloween party.
It was relaxing and fun to be kid free for the night (Emmy was with Nana) and party our little hearts out!

Below is Nathan's hard work making our house spooky and scary.
He even made his own coffin!
There were spider webs, black lights, strobe lights and scary, horrible sounds playing in the back ground.

In an effort to keep Halloween not so scary with the kiddos we started calling the man in our window Bob.  He had to come down the next day!

TA DA!  Our costume reveal...

Among the number of talents my husband has, one of them is costume making.  He made our costumes last year and once again he delivered!  I was so happy with my angry bird!  Didn't he do a great job?!

Here's just a few of our friends...

The guys

The girls

And that's all there is!  I must have forgotten about my camera at some point because I stopped taking pictures.  Overall we had a blast!  I must say though the years are catching up to me...It was a very long recovery Sunday!

Pumpkin Pickin

Fall is here!! It's that time of year again and we couldn't wait for our trip to the Pumpkin Patch.  MacDonald's Ranch is our tradition for hayrides, pumpkin picking and of course the petting zoo!

HANGING IN THE PETTING ZOO

EMERY WAS IN AWE THAT SHE ACTUALLY GOT TO PET THE "CHEAPS" AND "HOSEES!"

SHE CHASED THE ROOSTERS...

AND GOT TO HOLD HER FIRST BUNNY!
SHE WAS SO CAREFUL TOO!

AKIRA HOLDING A BUNNY TOO!

 HORSE RIDES

EMERY'S FIRST TIME ON A HORSE
SHE WAS A LITTLE SCARED BUT A TROOPER

I THINK SHE PREFERRED PETTING THE HORSE

THE LONG AWAITED HAYRIDE

EMERY WANTED ONLY THE BIGGEST PUMPKIN, EVEN THOUGH SHE COULDN'T LIFT IT. SHE WAS QUITE DETERMINED!

OUR LITTLE PUMPKIN

WE FOUND OUT PERFECT PUMPKINS AND LEFT THE RANCH WITH FUN MEMORIES!  DESPITE THE 90 DEGREE WEATHER, FALL IS HERE!!
